Teaching Kids Everyday Money Skills

MoneyPrep LOVES the month of April

April is Financial Literacy Awareness month and naturally, one of our favorite months of the year. We believe the sooner you start financial literacy learning, the better off you are! Our mission is to give the youth of today the opportunity and the skills to become financially responsible and confident money managers as adults.

Need for Financial Literacy

Financial literacy skills are life skills. We often train for years to learn and specialize in various skills. Personal finance should be treated the same way. Countless statistics prove that finance knowledge is at an all time low.

  • 1 in 3 parents surveyed aren’t confident they’re setting a healthy financial example for their kids. -TD Bank Group
  • 3 out of 4 teens don’t feel confident and knowledgeable about personal finance. -Greenlight
  • 53% of adults are financially anxious. -FINRA

This proves that now, more than ever, financial literacy needs to be learned. With that being said, it is important to find the best resources to do the job right.

Best approach

Gamification of learning has become an increasingly popular way of learning. We believe the power of play is the best approach to teaching money to kids and that is why our program has a healthy dose of the FUN factor!

MoneyPrep has been tried, tested and reviewed by thousands of kids and they are LOVING learning money concepts with us. Our games are designed for kids ages 5-12, challenging them enough to grasp financial concepts and helping them build habits that stick.
